$1,000 Academic Scholarship for College Students


Scholarship introduction

SnurkExpert offers an annual $1,000 college scholarships to university and college students. We're currently accepting applications for the award of the Winter 2017 scholarship. The funds for the scholarship, are paid twice at the beginning of each semester.


How to apply

Students whom would like to apply, should write an essay of between 500 and 750 words. The topic of this essay, should be the influence of sleep on there study, social life and general behaviour. Have you ever used an anti-snore product such as the anti snurk beugel or neusspreider, please include your experience in your essay. (This is not a mandatory requirement!) Competitive applications will submit an essay and reference to at least two articles or studies of academic level that support or relate to there point of view. Essays should be submitted in PDF format.

  • Verification of the full-time (12+ credits) enrollment at any 4-year university or college
  • Essay in PDF format
  • After selection: a confirmation from the Financial Aid officer

Who can apply?

It is possible to apply, for any current full-time student whom is enrolled in an accredited university or college in the United States, the United Kingdom or Canada and has a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. There isn't an age requirement for scholarship applications. Also incoming freshmen are invited to apply.


When is the deadline?

SnurkExpert is now accepting applications and nominations for the Winter 2016 scholarship. All applications should be submitted by December 1st, 2016 at midnight. The winning application shall be selected and publicly announced on December 15th, 2016. Send your complete applications through email to We do not consider incomplete applications.


Do I have to currently be enrolled to apply?

Applicants must submit proof of enrollment for each semester covering the length of scholarship (both 2016 semesters for example). The scholarship shall be sent to the financial aid office of the winning student's institution directly. The funds of the scholarship can be used at anytime during the school year. The winning $1,000 scholarship may be used only for tuition or books, at an accredited university or college.
